          มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ศูนย์พันธุวิศวกรรมและเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพแห่งชาติ และเนคเทค สวทช. ได้ร่วมมือในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนในการเริ่มสร้างทักษะทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี โดยเฉพาะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศแก่ครูและนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา ในจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน มาเป็นเวลาหลายปีแล้ว ส่งผลให้ครูและนักเรียนมีขีดความสามารถด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพิ่มมากขึ้น รวมทั้งมีความสนใจมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาทักษะให้สูงขึ้น นอกจากนั้นหน่วยงานในพื้นที่จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอนที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น องค์กรบริหารส่วนท้องถิ่น สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน วิทยาลัยชุมชน วิทยาลัยการงานและอาชีพ และอื่นๆ เป็นต้น มีความตื่นตัวในการที่จะร่วมกันพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากรโดยเฉพาะเยาวชนให้มี องค์ความรู้และมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น

          King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), and National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) of NSTDA have collaborated in promoting and supporting the reinforcement of scientific and technological skills especially information technology skills of instructors and secondary students in Mae Hong Son, Thailand, for several years. This project has enhanced the potency of the instructors and the students in science and information technology as well as affected their determination in improving the competence. Furthermore, the involved organization in Mae Hong Son, e.g. Local Administration Organization, Educational Area Office of Mae Hong Son, Community College, Vocational School, etc. are more alert in collaborative improvement of personnel potency especially the betterment of knowledge and quality of life of the youth.
